Describe the Feature/Enhancement

I would like to be able to use playlists when listening offline. Currently when downloading items that are in a playlist, they can't be played in sequence when listening offline. I have to play them manually.

Nice to have would be to

  • be able to download a whole playlist and listen to it in offline mode.
  • Be able to download individual items from a playlist. If I decide to play the playlist when being offline and an item has not been downloaded, it will be skipped.

Why would this be helpful?

I could listen to multiple audiobooks (or audio dramas) in sequence while being offline, without having to interact with the application. This would be very useful when used together with a sleep timer and the cellphone in flight mode.

Future Implementation (Screenshot)

I don't really think that a doodle is necessary. If you think otherwise, let me know and I create one.

This is related to offline library support. Currently the apps only support individual items when downloaded without additional server specific relationships.
