Should be using classes instead of ID's to keep style's dry and allow for more than one tabs area on a page.
Shouldn't be multiple tabs_container id's on a page not valid html.

I am still getting the hang of comments on Github. You are correct that classes should replace the ids for the very reasons you mentioned.
