so if i add it to the gprc ones, it takes the site offline. if i just do the api one then I get https://vpn.servernation.xyz//users 404 (Not Found) in dev menu

what do you mean with take sthe site offline? does the npmplus ui show it as offline? if yes what is shown when you hover over the red dot with your mouse?

yes offline in npm ui and it shows invaild url prefix in the conf file

Hmmm interesting, can you post the full config again please, with /api/ and this http location ending with /
