The current Yakihonne experience separates reposts from the quote post option. On mobile especially, the post action buttons are small and placed tightly together sot it’s easy to hit the wrong one. With most clients, these two features are combined into one button so you don’t accidentally repost something you didn’t mean to. A user can very easily press the repost button when they meant to reply or quote-post, and there’s no undo for that.
This is a jarring experience for users familiar with how Damus and Primal handle this feature. In those cases the user is presented with the option to repost or quote post from a single button. This is the same experience I expect on Yakihonne.
