Crash when starting game while signed in

Offline mode works fine.
When I sign in to my microsoft account and launch the game, it makes it to the Minecraft's main menu screen, seems to try to load my account and then immediately crashes. A console can be seen for a split second detailing a failing memory allocation.

yep had the same issue. Also when signing back out after signing in, it still crashes. The only way to make the game launch again was to do a full reinstall.

(Yes this was even with the latest launcher version at 2.1.3)

I did this for me 1 time but I clicked "Repair (reset wine prefix)" in Settings/Advanced and it stopped

to be fair I'm getting this message so I didn't bother trying the Repair feature, I just tried it and got the same result, crashes after launch.

Oh, maybe try to reinstall Minecraft by deleting "/home/{your name}/.local/share/bedrock-on-linux/games/{version}" and reinstall.

Getting the same error, the game just open and then just closes. The only version working for me is the v2.1.0, everyone after that just get me the same error/issues.

I had this error again and here is how I fixed it (I don't know if all the steps are needed):

1. Force stop Minecraft (Settings/Tools)
2. Repair (Reset Wine Prefix)
3. Sign out
4. Sign in
5. Start MC

If MC asks you to sign in to your Microsoft account, click on "Log in now" and the window will disappear and your account will be logged in. Just wait until your skin appears to make sure your account is well connected.
