Cover block image is not imported

The last image found in the wp:cover blueprint WXR imported block is not imported. It is reproducible by removing the block filter in the mu-plugin.

Other images such as https://playground.wordpress.net/scope:.../wp-content/uploads/2025/07/cover-image-playground.webp are imported.

I also encountered this bug on my content import. The image was loaded in the media file but the cover block background image wasn't updated.

The console showed this mixed content warning:

I was probably wrong, when I wrote "It worked before" - There is a distinct possiblity that I only had the local host running and it pulled the image from the original site.

What also doesn't work is when the Group block as a background image assigned.
