[Bug] File Explorer keeps multiple files highlighted after switching tabs

Description:

When I open a file from the File Explorer and then close all tabs, the previously selected file remains highlighted in the File Explorer.

If I then open another file or switch between tabs, multiple files end up highlighted in the File Explorer, which makes it difficult to identify the currently active file.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open a file from the File Explorer.
2. Close all open tabs.
3. Open another file (or switch between tabs after opening multiple files).
4. Observe the File Explorer.

Expected Behavior

Only the currently active/open file should be highlighted in the File Explorer. When there is no active file, no file should remain highlighted.

Actual Behavior

Previously selected files remain highlighted, causing multiple files to appear selected at the same time.

Impact

This creates confusion because it's difficult to determine which file is actually active, especially when navigating between multiple files.
