H3YS WorldPop GLC_FCS30D LCRPGR Project

This is a UN Open GIS Smart Maps Portable Web project for Spring 2025, led by @hfu.

Objective

Create an H3 LCRPGR visualization based on existing open data, namely WorldPop and GLC_FCS30D.

Key Concepts

H3輸送 (H3 Yuso)

Make use of H3 for the transport (輸送 /yuso/ in Japanese language) of grid-based geospatial data.

Cloud Source

Make use of Source Cooperative as an origin PMTiles data source in the cloud.

Martin's Cloak

Make use of Martin to accelerate local access to vector tiles hosted in the Source.
