Contagion effect not triggering when downed (Compatibility issue)

Describe the Issue

When downed with the effect and give up, the effect doesn't trigger it just kills without using effect.

The effect works fine its being downed with the effect not working properly. I have zombified player on too which turns you into a zombie when dying with the effect, but being downed with the effect and dying does not turn you, you simply die.

I think its only seeing if the effect kills and not if you have it.

Can't get logs, I haven't launched after something unrelated happened. But this is still an issue after updating both contagion and zombified player.

This is mainly a compatibility issue with contagion and zombified player not working with this mod too.

Hardcore Revival kills the player with a not_rescued_in_time damage source - it's up to Contagion to trigger its logic upon death, so this would be an issue on their side.
