Non-Symmetric issues with Hardcore Revival for Fabric 1.21.1 on multiplayer/LAN worlds

Issue occuring on Fabric 0.19.3 for Minecraft 1.21.1, using the latest version of Hardcore Revival (21.1.17) and Balm (21.0.63)

Tested on a bank instance with just those and Fabric API, no other mods that could be getting in the way.

I was hosting a LAN world and port forwarding with a friend joining (becauseit might matter about host vs guest). We were mostly in adventure mode, if gamemode matters.

Two issues presented itself.

1. When I died, I got the normal Hardcore Revival death screen with the "accept you fate" button or waiting to be revived. However, my friend was unable to right-click me in order to revive me.

2. When my friend died, they did not get the Hardcore Revival death screen and instead was just sitting there with half a heart. On my end they were in the crawl pose, not sure if they were crawling or not on their end. But they described it as "normal minecraft screen", not a death screen. I, however, WAS able to right-click them to revive them.

I will include the log but it really doesn't give much info.

Those symptoms would occur when the mod is not installed on both sides. Your friend is likely either running Vanilla, or a non-Fabric mod loader.

That's... strange. I'll confirm with him but I sent him the exact fabric version to use and the mod jar files to use for fabric, balm, and hardcore revival, he didn't even download them himself.

I have a similar issue in LAN worlds (Fabric 1.21.1 too).
What I've noticed is that movement of knocked out players does not register server side, only client side.
So, for example, if you were to die mid air, your body stays in the air for other players, but the actual knocked out player falls to the ground as normal.
(I've tested this exact scenario with 2 MC instances with Harcore Revival + Dependencies only):
