Is it possible to update the listener options?

Great little library!

One thing I'm curious about if is there a method to update the defaults for the main listener itself?

The thing I'm most curious about is the deadzone values.

I took a quick glance but haven't followed the handlers to see if it's possible to update those options.

What do you mean by "update"?
You can configure all options (including the deadzone) as described in the documentation:

Right now you have to set the configuration in the constructor of the object:

const listener = new GamepadListener({
  analog: false,
  deadZone: 0.3
});

And it seems because of your optionResolver it's not something that can be changed once created

this.options = this.constructor.resolveOptions(config);

I was thinking something like:

listener.options.deadzone = 0.4;
or
listener.updateOptions({ deadzone: 0.4});

or whatever API you'd prefer...

With it being a static method can I do this?

listener.options = GamepadListener.resolveOptions({ deadzone: 0.4});

I think this would work but it kinda seems like a hack.

Oh! Okay you want to update configuration at runtime.
There is no such feature at the moment.

Your hack should work just fine!

But it would be even better to have an updateOptions that does this!
(It would juste do what your hack does but from the inside of the class.)

Would you be willing to make a pull request to implement it? :)
