Document process of using ipfs and pinning files

Browsing through the tokel chain I have noticed that there are a large amount of tokens using ipfs. Some of these files no longer exist on the ipfs network. Based on the number of tokens with missing files, it seems there is some misconception in the community as to how ipfs works. A guide on hosting files locally or via "pinning services"( https://docs.ipfs.io/how-to/work-with-pinning-services/ ) is needed.

I have not used it personally, but infura.io seems to offer 5gb of free storage.

I should note that this is also important for anyone buying NFTs or tokens that utilize ipfs for some file(s). They may purchase an NFT, not understand they must host it locally or use a pinning service, and later find out that the file has disappeared permanently.
