Reason for disagreement: Thanks for the response. However, I am sorry to disagree with your stance.

It is stated that {benefit} can be omitted if it is obvious. However, I do not think that search for a specific tutee that I teach is an appropriate benefit for find a tutee.

If we look at the user story as a whole sentence :

As a tutor, I want to find a tutee so that I can search for a specific tutee that I teach.

The purpose and benefit completely overlap in my opinion and give no insight to its actual benefit. Thus it is not the issue of omitting the benefit or not, it's whether this benefit is accurate.
