Given that a big part of the product are dealing with time-related issues, I think it is important for those reading the DG to be able to understand the components well. However, the DG does not really provide any information on these mechanisms are implemented.
Upon digging a bit on the team's codebase, I find there are many time/schedule related class implemented but not explained on DG.
