Suggestion: Compatibility with essential?

I use this mod a ton to make resource packs with custom skies, usually for builds I do together with friends. However, we usually use essential to host our worlds, and the custom sky colors don't seem to work on any end other than the host's, even though both of us have the resource pack on.

I know lots of people use both of these mods, so it would be cool if they could work together! I also have some screenshots.
