[Feature]: Increase contrast between scrub head and scrub bar; visually separate previous vs upcoming content

Feature Description

The scrub bar currently looks like this.

It has two issues.

• It's difficult to discern the scrub head's location because it blends in with the rest of the scrub bar.
• Unlike most media players, the scrub bar's color is constant: previous and upcoming content have the same color. This further decreases legibility of the current scrub head position.
  • Distinguishing previous and upcoming content has the added benefit of making the scrub head very easy to locate—simply look at the end of the previous content—even if remains the same color as the scrub bar.

Proposed Solution

To differentiate the bar from the head and increase legibility, lighten the color used for previous content and desaturate the color used for upcoming content.

Ideally, those three colors could be customized: the color of previous content, the color of the head, and the color of upcoming content. I'm not sure if those options would be excessive, though.

I like the first one the most, which is simply fully desaturating upcoming content (previous content remains as-is).

wdym the same color?
i think you are talking about the old v4.4 desktop version.
This is fixed in the beta v5 version so im closing this issue

Oh, cool! I'm on macOS, so I don't (think?) I have access to a v5 build.

I will say though that the scrub bar in your screenshot seems a bit dark compared to the black background; maybe making it a bit more gray to increase contrast could help legibility? But it's a big improvement compared to v4.4!
