Your error comes from the fact that the script is located in Program Files which is a write-protected directory
The crash occurs in the select_save_location() function at this specific line 69:

with open('lastsavelocation.cfg', 'w') as file:

Because the script uses the 'w' flag it attempts to create/write the configuration file in its own directory since Windows restricts write access to Program Files the PermissionError is triggered

To fix this, you can:

Move your script folder to a location that doesn't require administrator privileges.

Or run the script as an Administrator
