v2.2.1 on Ubuntu Crashes when browsing ~/Downloads

Since upgrading to v2.2.1, I am unable to browse my user Downloads folder to import zip or 3mf, the application crashes.

To Reproduce
Launch v2.2.1 Snapmaker OrcaSlicer
Click File, Import, and select Import 3mf or zip archive
Browse to Downloads folder

Expected behavior
Folders and files of the selected type are displayed in the file open dialog.

Desktop (please complete the following information):

• Ubuntu 22.04
• Chrome and Edge installed, Chrome is default

Additional context
I am able to drag a file from the Downloads folder into the application interface, but that does not properly 'import'. After successfully dragging and dropping from the Downloads folder, I am unable to browse to import anything without crashing, I have to drag from some other folder first to reset the 'last' folder to avoid crashes.

Hi there, I encountered similar issues on Ubuntu 22.04 and managed to build a static AppImage that resolves the dependencies causing these crashes (specifically related to wxWidgets/GTK).
I've fixed the build scripts to properly support static linking on Ubuntu 22.04+ (submitted via PR #104) and created an unofficial AppImage build.

I'm not sure that has anything to do with my issue, it was specifically related to the 'Downloads' folder.

I have been copying the files I download to another folder before importing. I did that again today and encountered the same issue. It seems a specific file name was causing the issue, such as KNX+发布.3mf. When I renamed that file to remove the kanji characters, I had no issue with it. I have other files like that in my Downloads folder, so I'm pretty sure that's what's causing this problem.

To reproduce, name a file with that name I pasted above with the special characters, then try to import from that directory. You don't need to actually import the file, the app will crash when you browse that folder containing that file.
