Incompatibility with Fusion (Connected Textures)

Hey, I can't use these both mods together, since I have SimpleOres:Fusion, Fusion (Connected Textures) doesn't work

Rechiseled needs connected textures and it's not working, there are no crashs, texture just doesn't connect, removing SimpleOres:Fusion it works properly. I think it's just the name of the mod, do you know if there's something I could do?

I'm playing the version 1.18.2 [4.1.2.0]

The problem is that their mod is using the same mod id as mine: "fusion". I cannot retroactively change what is already out there, though I can change it for 1.20.2, since I haven't ported to it yet. The problem with backporting a name change is that I would have to change every single simpleores mod that uses "Fusion Furnace" alloys, (and thus refers to fusion:fusion_furnace) and that's all but two of them.

Have you also filed this bug report with their mod?

I haven't, but I'll now, adding these information you added here, but I think the answer will be the same, it must be a lot of work to change the lines of the code, and I understand it...

Maybe you should write a description on CurseForge relating this bug with these versions.

I've just run into this issue myself. It was reported on the other mod Issues page as well. His solution was to not use SimpleOres Fusion with his Fusion (Connected Textures) mod (the original issuer's case he had simply installed the wrong Fusion mod, this one, so he simply removed it but not solutions were raised to allow the mods to coexist and the issue was marked as solved). Real shame as I'm running my family server on 1.19.2 and everyone really wanted both features. But if it can't be done it can't be done. At least I know what's causing it now.
