Working Docs:
- Why are people not taking part in these sessions...?
- people are not always following what’s being discussed - lots of ideas have been raised and it's hard to catch up
- Some have said we should be working more project-based, others said restructure/consolidate WGs.
- Are these different approaches to the same problem?
- Consolidating WGs might not be the issue - we could spend (waste?) a lot of time on it without really improving anything
- Quality control vs mentorship vs capability?
- Quality control vs focus on decentralised governance?
- Cost - something being cheap doesn’t necessarily make it a priority, and being expensive doesn’t mesan we shouldn’t do it
What do we mean by some of these? Quality control - maybe not resolvable via templating
- Some have suggested we should focus on tech stack - this would mean positioning ourselves as “the builders”. Is hat what we want?
- Do we know how people see us? We’re seem as the ones who know about decentralised governance
- Do we want to focus on creating content? Is that not the thing that we’re least good at?
- Ambassadors as the place for wonky experiments :-)
- Onboarding issues in GovWG itself
- We prioritised ideas for the Program restructure:
- What has been suggested by several people?
- Where does it seem we agree?
- What are the similarities and differences?
- What's emerging as most important ideas?
- Comparing different priorities
- How are we seen, who do we want to be, what do we want to prioritise?
- We will move next week's planned session on Theory of Change, and instead have further discussion on how to prioritise he ideas that have been shared on restructuring.
- [rationale] because this discussion doesn' feel finished
- [effect] mayAffectOtherPeople
- topics covered: Ambassador Program restructure, Community Engagement, consolidate workgroups, project based work, quality control, content creation, decentralised governance, Experimentation
- emotions: not many people spoke, frustrating, no conclusions yet, no decisions
