Upcoming Release Schedule: v0.4.0

Hi everyone!

We’ve been working hard on some massive updates for this release—new memory analysis tools like MacOS Support, Leak Delta Charts, Watch, and Diff commands, to major under-the-hood improvements like codebase modularization, a dedicated Help subcommand, and a brand new theme.rs module for TUI customization.

To ensure everything is stable, fully tested, and cross-platform compliant, we are establishing a formal release schedule. Here is our target timeline moving forward:

The Timeline

• June 19: Release Candidate 1 (RC1)
  • Available for early testing. We'll be looking for community feedback on stability, cross-platform terminal rendering, and performance.
• June 27: Feature Freeze
  • No new features or refactors will be merged into the release branch. Focus shifts entirely to bug fixes and documentation polish.
• June 30: Official Stable Release
  • The official build goes live for everyone!

How You Can Help

We want to make this our smoothest release yet. You can get involved by:

1. Testing the RC: Once the RC1 tag is dropped, pull the branch and run it on your environment (especially looking for cross-platform visual or terminal bugs).
2. Reviewing Open PRs: Help us clear out the remaining queue on our pull requests tab.
