Current roadmap

Currently, the JavaScript world is completely rebuilding itself and many important libraries have updated their major version (Next.js, React Query, etc.)

To continue the development of the project and move it off the ground, you need to wait until the equally important parts (CT3A template, tRPC, ...) update their support for these libraries

After that, the development process will look like this:

Need to be done first

• feat: migrate to new Create T3 App template #25 (Also updating important libraries to latest version as well)
• feat: migrate to shadcn/ui as UI library #27 (Now supports Next.js App Router, so why not to pick it for better design)
• refactor: update DB structure and hosting #30

Features Order (May be changed in future)

• feat: add support for anonymous NextAuth session #26 (Remove forced Shikimori login)

  Also, some popular providers and credentials signup can be added as well

• feat: add characters game mode #19

  gQL API has support for Characters query

• feat: add time quiz game mode #20

  Current proposal: 1 minute per question

• feat: add op/ed game mode #17

  May be blocked by attempt of trying to run Youtube videos in background

• feat: add 1-on-1 game mode #18

  Currently blocked. No ideas of how to implement this. Will be changed later on
