Cuts the Unreleased section and takes both packages to 1.1.2: the staged search's recall fix for corpora with a strong shared direction (#562, #563). Versions move in step across the four manifests and both lockfiles; both build with --locked. Cuts the Unreleased section and takes both packages to 1.1.2 — the staged search's recall fix for corpora with a strong shared direction (#562, merged as #563). Versions move in step across the four manifests and both lockfiles; the crate and the downstream example build with
--locked.The release notes say what is and isn't measured yet: recall is verified (within 0.1% of the whole-index scan at k = 1, 10, 100, both widths, on MedCPT; OpenAI unchanged); speed is from a laptop (4-bit within 3%, 2-bit 7–12% slower at k = 10), and the README's benchmark figures are refreshed from the benchmark machines in a later release.
The tags are yours, as before, on this PR's merge commit:
git tag v1.1.2 <sha> && git tag py-v1.1.2 <sha> && git push origin v1.1.2 py-v1.1.2.A release cut moves entries out of [Unreleased] rather than adding to it, so the changelog gate takes its escape hatch, as #555 and #559 did:
