Static first page (for news feed)

Is it possible to add a static page (first left) for news feed or any other info as Yandex Launcher does ?
And this page will not interact as workspace does (to not allow to add / remove anything)

Hi @themelisx , other than being protected from being removed, what kind of behaviour would you like to see that would be different to just having a normal page at the left with a widget taking up the full page?

@RunasSudo As Samsung done in the latest launcher, there is a (left) full screen with a scrollable news feed. If you add a widget, will not full screen. Also widgets have too many limitations that a simple activity does not have.
Anyway, if cannot be done, is there a solution to add a page at the first run that will be protected from user?
