[RFC] Add the ability to take screenshots in-game #48
Description
Overview
Make a key (maybe F2 or some other one) take a screenshot when you're in Minecraft, that's it.
Motivation
I use Windows 10, so this probably won't apply to people using Linux or Mac, but taking screenshots with print screen or the snipping tool is really fucking annoying. With print screen, if you're in full screen and you don't tab out and back in, the screenshot you get will just be pure black, but that doesn't apply to people using a keyboard without print screen (like me right now because I'm on vacation.) And with the snipping tool, you can't even use it if you're not fast enough to get back into your game to use it.
Also there's this abhorrent bug with the snipping tool:
I'm not sure how easy or hard adding the ability to take screenshots in-game would be, and there are many alternatives. So I wouldn't expect that feature to be added too soon, if ever.
