Why this PR exists

• I am a maintainer / this is internal Roomote work

What changed

Product version 0.4.2 → 1.0.0 via pnpm run version.

This cuts Roomote 1.0.0 as the first public product release and folds post-v0.4.2 user/operator-facing work into the root changelog. Workspace package versions are unchanged; no pending changesets remain.

Notes lead with the launch-headline capabilities (Docker projects, multi-SCM automations, setup-flow rework, Code Mode), then the rest of the 1.0 surface.

Major

• Roomote 1.0 is the first public product release: the monorepo is open and ready for people to try the product, self-host, and send feedback on web tasks, cloud agents, and chat integrations.

Minor (headline first)

• Docker Compose / Dockerfile environment projects (Modal VM, task Logs, non-blocking start, nested-Docker memory).
• Multi-SCM automations and PR tooling across GitHub, GitLab, Gitea, Azure DevOps, and Bitbucket, with Slack / Teams / Telegram report destinations.
• Environment setup reworked into the normal task flow (observable completion, setup logs, non-blocking provision).
• Experimental Code Mode toggle.
• Local Docker on/off toggle, expanded SCM setup/OAuth, Slack/channel-post polish, agent UX, daily PR funnel stats.

Patch

• Hosted Docker provisioning; setup back-out and home-flash fixes; host/provider-scoped SC matching; Slack ReDoS-safe link regex; local artifact upload fixes.

Squash-merging this PR cuts the release and automatically opens the frozen Promote v1.0.0 to production PR against main.

How it was tested

• Audited v0.4.2..origin/develop and authored/consumed temporary changesets
• pnpm run version → root 1.0.0, expected ordering in changelog, workspace versions frozen
• pnpm exec node --test scripts/release/__tests__/lib.test.mjs scripts/release/__tests__/workflow.test.mjs (8/8 pass)
