The lib is not very well maintained.
We should migrate to something else.
Ideas welcome.

Hey @diegolmello , I think react-native-tab-view docs offers the same functionality since it supports:
✅ Scrollable tabs
✅ Swipe gestures
✅ Custom tab bar
✅ Optimized performance

Please let me know your thoughts on this.

I've heard performance issues in the past, but I'm pretty sure it was refactored a couple of years ago.
