[Bug]: Plugin throws an error upon opening a project

Short bug description

When i open a project it throws this error everytime.

Hello, once i open a project in Phpstorm it throws this error.

java.lang.IllegalStateException: This method is forbidden on EDT because it does not pump the event queue. Switch to a BGT, or use com.intellij.openapi.progress.TasksKt.runWithModalProgressBlocking.

Your project is not the problem

• I tried using a fresh laravel install - I'm fairly certain it has nothing to do with my project.

How to reproduce?

1. open a project.
2. use tinker for a bit.
3. switch to another project and open it in the same window.

Expected behavior

expected to open without throwing any error upon opening a project.
