Awesome build, congrats again! I love the white color you used, I think I might actually steal that aesthetic for my next build 😊 Since you adapted the CAD for the Pi 3A, it would be nice to share it with the community. If you feel up to it, feel free to submit a PR and push your modified files into an Also, thanks a lot for the heads-up regarding the R33 resistor. Since the board design is from Pollen Robotics, I'll open an issue on their repo so they can look into this JLCPCB assembly bug. In the meantime, I'll add a quick warning in our documentation to prevent others from running into the same problem. Can't wait to see what you achieve with the training! |

Hi! Sorry for taking so long to reply, I've been really busy with work. I have just submitted a PR with my modified parts, please let me know if you need any adjustments! Thanks for creating such a cool project, love my microban :) |

Just curious, how much did you have to pay for the RPI hat from JLC PCB? I got a quote of over $250USD which is way higher than what the BOM states so I think I might be doing something wrong. |
Uh oh!

Hi everyone!
This is such a cool project I could not resist building a microban.
Given the Pi 2W shortage I had to use a Pi 3A instead, it needed some CAD changes but otherwise works great! I also tried adding a new head kind of inspired by the Boston Dynamics Atlas that I will add a camera to.
I had an issue with the RPI Hat order from JLC PCB where I did not realise that a resistor (R33) was not included in the assembly, which I had to bypass with some soldering but so make sure to not make the same mistake as I did! I also got a bit lazy and did not shorten the JST cables which means they are hanging out and there is little space inside the torso, but will fix that later.
Feel free to ask any questions, really excited to now train the robot to do cool stuff :)
