I noticed the lag compensation was being done incorrectly in the new version of Morbus. self.Owner:LagCompensation should wrap around the util.TraceHull only.
Otherwise, it will cause clients to start rubber-banding under higher player counts. This could possibly correlate with the messages being received about trying to start lag compensation already activate. We've fixed this issue awhile back on our servers and it has been running very smoothly ever since.
