Rejected from Google, now at Facebook

I was approached and rejected by Google twice, once at grad school in the US and another time while working in the industry in Indonesia (got to the on-site but got really good feedback that I needed to brush up in two areas). Facebook recruiter got to me just before Google reached out to get me to try interviewing again, and here I am. Still in touch with my Google recruiter who's a good sport about this.
