After uninstalling, the driver remained on the system which I only noticed because I was going through Driver List.
The driver cannot be deleted, stopped, paused or uninstalled in any normal way.
If you try to delete the driver using the sc utility, your mouse completely stops working after rebooting.
This is because the driver is in the UpperFilters in the registry, the key can be found at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4d36e96f-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}. To get your mouse to work again, you have to remove rawaccel from the UpperFilters and reinstall the drivers in Device Manager.

Surprised they never fixed this, if this is the case.
