isn't anything malicious, the activity of running iexplore.exe is normal, since it basically uses something browsers do, to display it's ui.

  • the code is fully opensource, you can compile it yourself

honestly, if you are literally trusting some random ass antivirus over actually good ones like kaspersky and ms defender is crazy.
