Static binaries

If the internet ever went down and you wanted to go around your community to help set up a radio network with modem73, having local copies of the .deb/.rpm installers will do you no good as they typically rely on external dependencies that need to be pulled in over the internet.

Would it be possible to release static builds that are more portable, similar to how age releases binaries for most OS/Arch combinations? I keep copies of such releases on an external drive that are kept up-to-date with a script.

Thanks for the suggestion! This is next up on the list for sure. I'd like to package modem73 in a way that doesn't rely on GH actions either.
