Revise units and replace with dimensional equivalents

Following issue #1 we (Miguel, Tom, Celine and Anders) agreed on, and with this issue: Revising the models to remove references to specific units (meV, A, ps, etc.) and replace that by dimensional references (energy/time^-1, length, time/energy^-1).
