I frequently find a need to get the metadata of items in an archive.
Something like Get-Archive sounds good.
Get-Archive
Could/should this be integrated to Get-ChildObject? Something like:
Get-ChildItem -Path '.\anarchive.zip' -Recurse
Perhaps even specifying subdirectories in the archive:
Get-ChildItem -Path '.\anarchive.zip\dir1' -Recurse
