How to differentiate gesture and click?

I'm using custom view , in that I have click events! when I implement this zoom view, click event triggered before the zoom ! failed to zoom becz I have dialog to popup on click event.

I just needed a scroll view for the custom view! few codes from http://developer.android.com/training/gestures/index.html helped me get scollx scrolly to the custom view
(I'm not using android-zoom-view lib for the time being )
