Hi @jojomale
I realised that I cannot change the bug report level, nor can I change the output file for logging. It always runs into some standards (that are wrong). My suspicion is that there is a bug in the .set_logger method.

Code to Reproduce

Just start the correlator and try to change the logging settings

OK, here are a few more details about what does and does not work:

• logging only works for the Correlator object. All other objects do not write any files anymore (.e.g, Monitor, StoreClient). However, they do log in terminal.
• log levels/file names, etc. cannot be changed. I think this is because the whole set_loggermethod does not work (see title of issue).
