Issue Description

I loaded a new saveslot and changed a species subtype for a slime person. It first seemed to change only character slots of similar species. I.E I picked tajaran subspecies, and my tajaran character on another slot lost a lot of customization options, and some options even changed on their own.

Image
eye color among other things missing. (and the eyes changed from blue to...I don't even know).

I restarted the game and now it's affected all slots, even ones I didn't pick a subspecies for.

Image
bald now, and eye color changed.

does load the corrupted slot when going in game.

What did you expect to happen?

Other slots to not be changed, corrupted, or otherwise touched by changing the subspecies of a slime person in their own character slot.

What happened instead?

It started changing the other character slots and removing options to put them back.

Why is this bad/What are the consequences?

People would probably like that this doesn't change/mess with their other characters.

Steps to reproduce the issue.

Loaded a slime person character slot - change subspecies - load another character slot - restart game - all character slots are now corrupted.

When did the problem start happening?

The first round I played with #27359 merged into the game.

still looks like it's kind of broken, unfortunately!

Image

i didn't even touch the slime person this time. switching character slots just breaks things.

as well as some options missing, and some that shouldn't be there are now just there? (skin tones for a vulp)
