Show waiting masks / spinners (CC @creadicted and Felix) when:

  1. A page is loading (ex: discover)
  2. When a photo is being uploaded

This is important because it can be very slow on mobile devices. (at least when the connection is throttled like mine at the moment, it took me a few minutes to upload a 1.5 Mpx picture through mobile network)
