Train reaction to signals (draft)

We need to design how trains react to signals.

The models needs to handle these functionalities:

• The train should subscribe to the signal updates for as long as it is seen
• The signal can add extra constraints given as an envelope, set by the signaling module
• These constraints can be removed with new updates
• The train tries to match the constraints with accelerations and brakes, a warning is issued if not possible

This would be the minimum to run simulations. Extra features will be added later on, but we need to have those in mind while designing the model:

• The train is aware of how late it is compared to the original envelope
• The train is aware of how much margin can be consumed to catch up with the original timing
  • QUESTION: is it something we know for every point of the path, or is it just for special points (stops / operational points)
• The train can speed up to catch up with the original envelope, until it reaches the same timing and speed
  • Question: how does this relate to mareco? Do we always speed up and brake at maximum capacity until we catch up with the original envelope?
