sync with iCloud is not functioning

as it stands I am currently unable to sync with iCloud, I keep receiving "AnyhowException ( Bad message)".

Context:
Signed into apple id (obv)
using iPhone relay (relay functioning, can send and receive)
I am not signed into my Apple ID on the iPhone, iMessage, FaceTime, and iCloud are disabled
I am able to sign into iCloud on the web and on my Mac without any issues

I have attempted to wipe identity cache, uninstall and reinstall openbubbles again, I have waited a few days now to see if it was an issue with my iCloud being throttled, but all of these attempts have been futile

I found this as I uninstalled and reinstalled openbubbles due to an unrelated issue, upon reinstalling and reconfiguring with the relay and signing into my Apple ID, I found that the messages that I had locally had disappeared (which was my fault), I go over to settings and try to sync with iCloud but the button does nothing, I got a notification saying "AnyhowException ( Bad message)".

attached is a log I made sure to click the sync with iCloud to have it show in the more recent part of the log. any help would be greatly appreciated, and if y'all need any more information please let me know! i just want my chats to show up on my phone too.

This is still happening after multiple sign in and sign out attempts, iMessage data is syncing and back-syncing on Mac and iPad, not working on openbubbles. "AnyhowException ( Bad message )" every now and then it will say it's syncing, and show the loading animation but after a few minutes it says sync with iCloud failed.

I'm having the same issue, regardless if I self host using an iPhone or Mac. Here are my logs as well.

I attempted to set up the Linux client as well and had the same issue with syncing to the cloud. Forgot to mention my apple devices are running their beta softwares, in case that changes anything.

I am unfortunately unable to use openbubbles for the time being :( it's now a 50/50 on if my messages send, iMessages on my iPad or Mac don't show up on my phone, at this point openbubbles is only functioning for the relay bridge. perhaps something did change with icloud

After deleting all data, uninstalling, removing the OB iPhone from my Apple devices, reinstalling, using a fresh registration code, and signing in; When i went to enable sync with icloud and put the password for one of my devices (an ipad) to access the bottle, I faced a new error: "Panic exception(Insert class key not found)". After said error occurs, when i try to click the sync now button, i still get the "AnyhowException ( Bad message)" error. I am unsure as to what the issue is. I’m frustrated but hopeful this can be resolved.

I've tried everything I could as well. Tried different ways of hosting and I even reset my host iPhone and did a fresh install of the relay app and everything. Same with openbubbles, even trying older versions of the app. Nothing seems to be working. It really seems to me as if Apple changed something on their end even though it sounds crazy.

Woke up this morning and saw that iCloud sync had been toggled off. When I toggled it back on, it said "Fetching bottle" and then prompted me for the passcode to my iPad for access to my iCloud. Once I put it in, it said "Opening bottle" and then threw a "PanicException" error. I closed the app and opened it again and it started to sync all my messages again. As of now this issue is resolved for me and my messages have been synced. I did recently restore and downgrade my iPad from iOS beta to stable, I wonder if that's what prompted OB to fix itself. I have my logs in case anyone wants to take a look, just dm me on Discord (Axehound247) and I'll get them to you, these just have sensitive info in them and I don't want to post them here. Fingers crossed this gets resolved for everyone else

I am also having the same issue as mentioned above, for some time now. As far as i am aware, it never actually worked for me at all. I don't know, but sucks to have to lose your messages in this manner.
