Hi bonzibudd. Juniper7 here. Do you think Microsoft will shut down the symbol servers at some point? |

I decided to download the app to make sure the symbols get stored on my drive. Yay, Start menu has blur on Win 11. Thanx |

Hi all, it's been a while. I finally remembered how to log into my account :)
I recently discovered an app called DWMBlurGlass. It looks to be an app which replaces the broken glass effect in Windows 11 and offers different options such as Windows 10-style blur, Windows 7, and even Windows 11 acrylic and mica effects.
The app doesn't work with Open-Shell installed with default settings, but if you enable an option titled "Override AccentBlur effect" it works flawlessly. I haven't run into any compatibility issues yet.
Another note, you might need to download the symbol files on the "symbol" page in order for the program to run correctly as I did.
Another cool trick is that it actually replaces the mica effect in some apps such as File explorer and the default Win11 desktop.
