[bug] Press Start screen then black screen

Describe the bug

A clear and concise description of what the bug is.

In the stock firmware, it shows up as if there is a disc ready to start, but pressing start results in a black screen.

The clock battery on my GC is dead, so I get sent to the stock firmware to set the date and time. For some reason it shows something being bootable from the disc screen, but results in a black screen on start.

Steps to Reproduce

How can the bug be triggered?

Boot into stock IPL and try to start the game from the disc screen.

Expected behavior

What output or behavior were you expecting instead?

It would be nice to boot into the selected default dol from this screen.

It happens to me too, because when I start with Cubeboot and enter the menu by pressing A, in the GamePlay menu it says "press start to begin," but it doesn't show that there is a game. If you put a disc in, the disc doesn't show up; it only appears as if there's something to load, but when you press start, it goes to a black screen and doesn't go beyond that.
