TMS - Account Assets

The module TMS - Account Asset manages the creation of assets for vehicles. This module provides the feature of creating vehicle assets to manage their depreciation.

This is an alpha version, the data model and design can change at any time without warning. Only for development or testing purpose, do not use in production. More details on development status

Installation

There are two ways of installing the module:

Transport settings

1. Go to Transport app.
2. Go to Configuration > Settings.
3. In the Vehicles block, enable the "Manage depreciations" setting.

Apps list

1. Go to Apps.
2. Search for TMS - Account Asset module.
3. Install the module.

Configuration

The following configuration is needed to create the assets for new vehicles:

Asset Profiles

1. Go to Invoicing/Accounting module.
2. Go to Configuration > Asset Profiles.
3. Create or select an asset profile.
4. Configure the asset profile and select the box "Is a TMS vehicle".

Vehicle Categories

1. Go to Transport module.
2. Go to Configuration > Categories.
3. Select or create a new category.
4. Add the asset profile created.

Vehicle Models

1. Go to Transport module.
2. Go to Configuration > Models.
3. Select or create a new model.
4. Add the category to the model with that has the asset profile.

Usage

Creation of vehicles assets

1. After configurating the asset profiles, categories and models, creating a new vehicle record creates a new asset.
