In two words: FOSS and FEATURES-RICH.

I've been searching for a good launcher to replace native one (stock system launcher) which was stable, but very limited in customization and features.

So, after testing a dozen, I've come up with 3 launchers

• Neo launcher
• kvaesitso
• Nova launcher

Let's analyze one by one

kvaesitso

• FOSS.
• search-focused.
• stable.
• frequently updated.
• no option to customize home-screen.
• no folder/tab in drawer (replaced by hashtag).
• no self categorization for app.

Nova launcher

-NOT FOSS.

• Free mostly (although the paid version in just 3.99€).
• Stable.
• High-customizable.
• Fast start-up.

Neo Launcher

• FOSS
• Stable (even with a lot of icons).
• Quite frequently updated.
• Rich quick menu on homepage.
• You can highly customize as you like home screen.
• AUTO categorization for apps (when you create tabs).

Missing-malfunctioning feature

• SLOW at start up (this not happen when using aforementioned launchers).
• No RECENT section in drawer (for quick opening/sudden crash of app).
• No search customization for search app bar (when opening drawer).
• No search specific site (eg YouTube, Wikipedia, Start Page).

Bug

• When creating tabs it remove apps from ALL APPS tabs (instead it should leave it).
• Quick menu on homepage (using NL in a table, a wide-screen device) take all the space available (Conversely to using NL in a phone).
