[Bug] thoughts are not visible in the thought dropdown

Description

The thought sections are being rendered in the UI, but expanding the dropdown does not show the actual written thought content. The UI only displays "Thought for 0s" with the dropdown arrow, while the generated thoughts/content are missing.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Start a chat session with a model that produces reasoning/thought content.
2. Wait for the model to generate its response.
3. Observe the thought sections displayed in the UI.
4. Click the dropdown/expand arrow next to "Thought for 0s".

Expected Behavior

The dropdown should expand and display the actual generated thought content.

Actual Behavior

The thought sections are displayed as "Thought for 0s", but expanding them does not show the written thoughts/content.

Hey @addyCooks, we’ll review the PR but honestly, it’s disappointing because I already mentioned this before. Please always ask to be assigned to an issue and share your implementation plan before starting work and opening PRs. Right now, it feels like you’re creating a bulk of PRs without following the contribution process. Please keep this in mind for future contributions.

@akramcodez I understand, and I’m sorry about the confusion here.

For #853, I didn’t realize I was expected to ask for assignment and share an implementation plan first. The issue itself didn’t mention those contribution guidelines, unlike the Code Lenses issue, which explicitly includes them. That’s why I assumed it was okay to work on it directly.

I’ve previously asked you before working on other issues like #750 and followed the assignment process, so I definitely wasn’t trying to bypass the contribution process or create PRs without coordination.

That said, I understand your expectation now and I’ll make sure to ask for assignment and share my plan before working on issues going forward. Thanks for pointing it out.
