Restoring database

Hi,

I had to reinstall my Birdnet-Pi (from an .img file I made with the Linux command dd, on December 23) because my sd card died. The operation was successful, however I lost detections between December 23 and today.

Fortunately I manually download everyday the birds.db file and would like to restore this db. How can I do that?

Hi, there is a new backup/restore option here : https://github.com/Nachtzuster/BirdNET-Pi?tab=readme-ov-file#backup-and-restore

You could also just copy-paste the db in "$HOME/BirdNET-Pi/scripts/birds.db" and it should be picked up directly

Last option, you could open your current database in phpmyadmin and import the content of your previous sqlite database
