Sharing Diagnostic Recipes

This post illustrates the model of sharing a user-defined diagnostic recipe with the community for the calculation of a derived variable based on the raw output variables from CESM.

In this specific example, with the code block added into a calculation notebook, the new derived variable d18Osw can be later referenced in spells such as d18Osw:ann:gm.

The community may search for new recipes in this Discussion section for temporary use, and like/dislike them.
Those with more likes will be included in the future releases of x4c, and the user who provides the recipe will be listed as a contributor of the package.
