@JasonMcRay does this happen when the percentage sign is by itself or when its used in a sentence?

I tried it by itself (%), in sentence (I am working with 100% efficiency) and in sentence (This % is annoying).

And I always got DCed/kicked from the server.

Well this is due to the chat format, but its a easy fix. I may do a PR shortly.
